Yes — completely and permanently. The LED is disabled at the hardware level by cutting the circuit inside the temple arm. This is not a tape-over, a cover, or a software trick. Once it's done, the light will never turn on again under any circumstances.
Yes, it does void the Ray-Ban / Meta manufacturer warranty. This is an irreversible hardware modification. We're transparent about this upfront. If warranty coverage matters to you, this service is not for you — and that's okay.
The full service takes 30–45 minutes on-site. That includes disassembly, LED disable, cleaning, UV sealing, and final inspection. We do not rush any step — especially the seal.
No. The entire point of the UV sealing step is to restore the factory finish. We close every seam to the same spec as the original assembly. When we hand them back, there is zero visible evidence of any modification — no gaps, no marks, no residue.
Yes. You own the device and have the right to modify your own property. Disabling a recording indicator on a device you own is entirely legal in the U.S. We are a hardware modification service — not affiliated with Meta or Ray-Ban.
